How to use a telescope
Firstly, get familiar with how to adjust the eye pieces to get a clear view. Remember to remove the cover at the front of the lens.
The biggest challenge when using a telescope is to aim at what you would like to see. This takes some practice, and it might be wise to start using the telescope during the day to familiarize yourself with it. For the night sky, we suggest starting with looking for the Moon. The Moon is big and bright and therefore easy to find. Moving onward, try for a bright planet.
Some mobile phone applications provide excellent maps of the night sky which are great companions to the Portable Telescope. We recommend Night Sky, a free app which shows constellations, planets, satellites and many other exciting heavenly bodies.
