Tornado Tube — Create your own Tornado in a Bottle

Connect two PET bottles with the Tornado Tube and create an exciting tornado

Fill a PET bottle with water and screw on the tornado tube, then add the other bottle and then spin the bottle with circular movements. The water will flow very slowly, maybe it will not flow at all. When you spin the water in the upper bottle, a tornado is formed and the water flows very quickly. Create extra effect by using coloured water. The tornado inspires discussions about everything from energy conversions to liquid pressure.
