This booklet will allow your child to explore and play with the ingenious decimal system of numbers. Your child can write out all numbers from 0 to 999 using the booklet. It may be useful to get familiar with the booklet before proceeding to addition and subtraction:

1. Put the booklet on a table and flip all the sheets so that only the white backsides are visible. Begin by flipping the sheets which include the numbers 1 to 9.
2. Repeat the process on the two following categories. The first includes numbers 10 to 99 and the second includes numbers 100 to 999. 

This booklet will firstly demonstrate how every number from 0 to 999 can be written using only a zero and nine digits. Moreover, it can also be used to add and subtract with any two numbers in the same range. The pages can be flipped to get the right answer.

Our experience with teaching math and testing various mathematical toys is that visual representations of numbers are hugely effective in developing numeracy. This booklet is an excellent tool for building the mental map of numbers needed to do everything from advanced calculations to everyday math.
